I am a firm believer in this statement. I believe that God must have a sense of humor, so therefore, a beautiful, original prank idea is pure unadulterated gift of inspiration.
And I was really in tune yesterday.
My first prank idea can't shared yet. I haven't had time to execute it yet. Hopefully I can do that this weekend, which in Maddy time means hopefully next week.
ANYWAYS.
Last Saturday Daniel and I went on a double date with our favorite double date couple, Eve and Jed. We had a merry time eating and puzzling over a puzzle until the wee hours of weekend curfew. Since then, Daniel and I have been wanting to sneak into our married friend's home, and stealthy work on their giant puzzle until they realize we are there!
So last night we executed our plan. We were really apprehensive about the whole thing. We are good friends with Eve and Jed, but we were unfamiliar with their early evening habits. Thankful no one was naked! When we drove up to their house we noticed that their car was gone, but the lights were on. Meaning that just one person was home. Daniel and I were really happy about this and figured we would be safe to sneak in. Daniel lightly knocked, to insure that no one was naked sitting on their couch. We could hear someone in the back bedroom, so we ventured in and started working on the puzzle at their kitchen table. We could hear Jed playing Deablo beta(?) and soon he hopped on the phone with Eve who sounded distressed. I was totally giggling the whole time, but then I let out a giant sneeze! Jed came out. When he saw us he said, "Oh hey Daniel and Maddy," as if we had been there for hours, like it was no big deal we were sitting at his kitchen table. hahahahahaha anyways, poor Eve was having car troubles in Idaho Falls, which is about an half hour away from Rexburg. So it truly was divine intervention that we found our way to Eve and Jeds last night. Daniel and I drove Jed down to IF, the boys played mechanic for awhile, we went Wallyworld for supplies, and after having to give up, went to a wonderful dive Mexican restruant. DELUX.
Eve's car is in IF still, but hopefully it will be running soon!!
i read this out loud for Jed laughing the whole time! i was a little grumpy and worried but you guys made the night fun anyway. thank you so much for all your help!! Daniel helped me fix my Neon (it wouldn't turn over until we got a new battery in it) and then i drove Jed down and he drove the Envoy back up and dropped it off at the shop. now we're just praying it doesn't cost too much and that my Neon doesn't present with any more problems! you guys rock my world! <3
