Lock Down

Well, it's a partial lockdown. We are not allowed in East Jerusalem or the old city for the rest of the day. Daniel was out and about in East Jerusalem when he got a phone call from the center. Security asked them the who he was with and where. Dan was out with some of the other students who are taking Arabic, while the Hebrew students were in class. They were told that they needed to come back to the Center immediately! So they did! Why? Well they just did a trade for soldiers. The Palestinians traded 1 Israeli for 1000 Palestinians.  Here is a completely unbiased article... well of course not, but still it is very informative!

Gilad Shalit's Release

Also during Hebrew class today, I was selected to be the bride during our mock wedding celebration. I got hoisted up in a chair as my classmates sang hava naglia. Good times!!
