Today's events were very olive focused! We were able to think about the significance that olives have in the Scriptures, especially as a type for the atonement. It was a beautiful day, and I was able to reach a special understanding by participating in the activity. Christ suffered for us an incredible amount, so that we can live again. I don't think I realize that enough throughout my days. Food for thought. Get it... olives... food for thought!? hahahahahahhahaha I've been in a punny mood all day today, and so I've remade a little song. It's based off of Taylor the Latte Boy. We had an AMAZING talent show on friday night, and our friend Suzy sang a song called "Taylor the Latte Boy" by Kristen Chenoweth. I love that song, as it reminds me about my brother Taylor, who actually did work at a coffee shop for all of (olive) 2 weeks.
So here it is:
Daniel the Olive boy
Bring me olives, bring me oil
Oh Daniel the Olive boy... Iolive him Iolive him Iolive him!
Iolive him! Iolive him! Iolive him!
So many years my heart has waited!
Who'd have thought that love would be so consecrated?
Daniel, the Olive boy! Iolive him! Iolive him! Iolive him!!!
